We are committed to fostering children’s learning through purposeful play in a caring, supportive atmosphere, sensitive to individual needs, enabling children to become independent, sociable, creative, articulate and able to use their initiative.
We strive to ensure that children gain the skills, experience and education that will equip them for school life. Our children leave nursery school ready and confident for the next big chapter of their lives.
The Nursery opened on July 11th 2000. Anna, the nursery's proprietor gained a level three qualification in Childcare in 1982. She then went on to gain a Foundation degree in Early Years in 2014. Anna, a Mother of three, has worked in a wide range of Early Years settings and so brings a wealth of experience to her own nursery. Anna’s husband, Mick, has supported her in bringing to life her vision of a homely nursery providing care that meets the individual needs of all children. It has involved much hard work and dedication and the safe recruitment of skilled, caring and knowledgeable staff, but together they have built up a business that the whole family have been able to get involved in and be proud of. Her two daughters, Louisa and Rosie, share the managerial responsibilities of the nursery, allowing Anna to take a well deserved back seat, after many years of dedication.
The nursery is registered for 50 children and is open each week day from 07.45-18.00 for 51 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays.
